DescriptionWe are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Electrochemical Chemist with an M.Sc. in Chemistry and hands-on experience in electrochemical techniques. The candidate will work on developing, testing, and optimising electrochemical sensors and contribute to the advancement of diagnostic technologies within an interdisciplinary team.ResponsibilitiesDesign and perform experiments related to electrochemical detection and sensing.Develop and characterise electrochemical sensors (e.g., voltammetry, amperometry, EIS).Analyse experimental data and prepare reports and technical documentation.Collaborate with hardware and software teams for the integration of electrochemical platforms.Maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals, and SOPs with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.Contribute to ongoing R&D activities aimed at developing point-of-care diagnostic devices.QualificationsMaster’s degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry or related field.Practical experience with electrochemical techniques such as CV, DPV, SWV, and EIS.Familiarity with electrochemical instrumentation and data interpretation.Ability to design and conduct reproducible and reliable experiments.Preferred QualificationsExperience with biosensor development or bio-electrochemistry.Exposure to materials chemistry or surface modification techniques.Understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration in R&D environments.Personal AttributesStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking.Detail-oriented and methodical in experimental work.Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.Ability to manage time and multiple priorities in a research setting.Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
