Are you a senior-level Business Development leader with deep roots in the VFX industry and a global network to match?We’re looking for a strategic, high-impact Business Development Executive to help elevate two award-winning VFX studios into a premier global brand. This is a rare opportunity to shape group-level growth strategy, build global partnerships, and drive high-end project wins across film, TV, and streaming.This role is ideal for someone who’s equally comfortable in boardrooms and on the festival circuit, with a proven ability to secure flagship deals and influence at the highest levels of the industry.What you’ll be doing:Strategic Business DevelopmentBuild and expand a global pipeline of high-end VFX opportunities through deep relationships with studios, networks, and streamersEstablish direct relationships with executive producers, directors, VFX supervisors, and production executives to drive project winsAct as a strategic ambassador for the group, consistently reinforcing its creative and technical strengths to secure premium projectsGroup-Level Strategy and ExpansionDefine and execute a global market expansion plan aligned with the vision of growing into a premier VFX brandPartner closely with the CEOs and leadership teams of Basilic Fly and One of Us to align business growth with delivery capabilitiesIdentify new opportunities across geographic markets, client segments, and strategic alliancesExecutive Relationship ManagementLeverage your network and reputation to access decision-makers and secure upstream conversationsServe as a trusted advisor to clients, helping shape project direction and positioning the group as the go-to creative partnerContribute to pitch strategies, marketing narratives, and project bids with a premium, client-first perspectiveCorporate and Brand ElevationRepresent the group at global industry events, panels, and festivals to build visibility and credibilityCollaborate with marketing and leadership to articulate the group’s value proposition across marketsMarket Intelligence and Strategic InputProvide strategic insights to the executive team based on market trends, client feedback, and deal flowWork with finance and strategy teams to assess ROI, structure deals, and evaluate long-term value from partnershipsWhat we’re looking for:20 to 25 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or senior commercial roles in VFX or high-end productionA global network of trusted connections, especially across US studios, streamers, and major content creatorsReputation as a senior industry connector with executive-level access and credibilityProven success in securing high-value creative deals, co-productions, and strategic partnershipsStrategic mindset with the ability to operate across regions and collaborate cross-culturallyWillingness to travel frequently and adapt across time zones
