Job Title

Virtual Construct seeks an experienced Rebar Detailer & Project Coordinator to remotely support our commercial and infrastructure projects in the United States. You will develop accurate rebar shop drawings, collaborate on BIM models, and coordinate essential project documentation. Working closely with our U.S.-based Project Managers and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) team, you’ll ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD and rebar CAD expertise, experience in project coordination, and a solid grasp of construction best practices. Key ResponsibilitiesRebar Detailing & DraftingPrepare detailed rebar shop drawings and bending schedules using AutoCAD and rebar CAD tools.Review construction documents for compliance with ACI, CRSI, and project standards.Coordinate with engineers to resolve technical conflicts.VDC CollaborationIntegrate rebar details into BIM models (Revit, Tekla, etc.) in coordination with the VDC team.Participate in clash detection and model coordination meetings.Project Coordination & DocumentationMaintain organized project records, including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and logs.Submit accurate documentation to clients and assist with project scheduling and tracking.Budget & Cost SupportSupport budget reviews, cost tracking, and variance analysis in coordination with the Project Manager and finance teams.Collaboration & CommunicationLiaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to share updates and resolve issues.Attend virtual meetings and report on detailing progress, documentation, and scheduling.Quality & ComplianceEnsure deliverables meet quality standards and align with current codes and best practices.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required). Minimum 5 years of experience in rebar detailing and/or concrete construction project coordination. Proficiency with AutoCAD and rebar CAD software; familiarity with Revit and Tekla is a plus. Knowledge of ACI, CRSI, and other industry standards. Rebar or ACI certification preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with project management applications (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore) is a plus. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with experience in budget variance analysis. Effective communication skills to manage remote, cross-functional collaboration.
