Job Title: General Manager (Luxury Retail)Location: PuneAbout the Company: Our client is part of a well-known group with diversified Interests in Real Estate, Luxury Retail, Hospitality etc. The Company represens iconic Italian Luxury furniture brands and owns the largest luxury furniture showrooms in the nation located at Pune and Mumbai.Salary Range : 30-35LPAPosition Overview: Our Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the Company’s Luxury Retail operations (state of the art Retail Destinations in Pune and Mumbai) . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end furniture or a related luxury business, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of premium clientele. The role involves overseeing store operations, driving sales, managing high-value customer relationships, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. Key Responsibilities:Store Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring a seamless and luxurious shopping experience. Sales & Business Development: Drive sales through strategic planning, client engagement, and high-end customer service. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with HNIs, architects, and interior designers. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team to meet sales targets and maintain brand excellence. Merchandising & Inventory: Ensure optimal product display and stock management in line with luxury aesthetics. Marketing & Events: Collaborate with the marketing team for store promotions, VIP events, and brand collaborations. Financial Oversight: Monitor sales performance, control budgets, and analyse market trends. Preferred Qualifications & Experience :Bachelor’s Degree and/or Professional Qualification in Retail Management .A minimum of 15 years of Managerial experience with at least 5+ years in a senior role in Luxury Furniture, Home Décor or a related high-end Retail Industry, or a Commercial role in Luxury Hospitality. Strong Sales acumen with a proven track record of meeting revenue targets. Excellent Leadership and Team Management skills. Strong network with HNIs, architects, and designers would be an advantage. Deep understanding of Luxury Retail and Customer expectations. Exceptional Communication, Negotiation and Interpersonal skills. Ability to handle Store Operations, Marketing and Customer Service with a Strategic approach.
