Join our dynamic team in maintaining and developing our web-based and server-side applications.Overview:We are looking for an experienced Senior Shopify developer to support in the development of the SimCorner App. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in the following skills:As a Shopify Developer with a focus on mobile, you will be responsible for enhancing our e-commerce platform to deliver seamless, fast, and engaging mobile shopping experiences. You’ll collaborate with our design and marketing teams to ensure that our Shopify storefronts are not only visually stunning but also highly functional and optimized for mobile users.Key ResponsibilitiesMobile Optimization: Build, test, and deploy responsive and high-performing Shopify stores tailored for mobile users.Theme Development: Customize and develop Shopify themes with a focus on mobile-friendly interfaces and user experience.Performance Enhancement: Analyze site performance on mobile devices and implement strategies to reduce load times and improve responsiveness.Integration: Work with APIs and third-party apps to enhance mobile functionalities (e.g., payment gateways, analytics tools).Bug Fixes & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the platform operates flawlessly across all devices.Collaboration: Partner with designers and marketers to align mobile experiences with branding and campaign strategies.RequirementsProven experience in Shopify development, with a portfolio showcasing mobile-optimized stores.Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and Liquid templating.Experience with responsive design frameworks and mobile-first development principles.Knowledge of performance optimization tools and techniques for mobile platforms.Familiarity with Shopify’s APIs, app ecosystem, and integrations.Proficiency in version control tools (e.g., Git).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Tailwind CSS or other utility-first frameworks.Understanding of Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) and mobile app-like features.Familiarity with UX/UI design principles, especially for mobile.Knowledge of SEO best practices for mobile.
