Job Summary -Looking for an agronomist with a strong background in agronomy and related sciences with a solid knowledge of crops, agri-products, and best agricultural practices. Good understanding of traditional farming systems and challenges of smallholder farming. Team player with leadership skills and strong communication skills; who respects the diversity of opinions to create a diverse environment.Job type - Full timeLocation - Nagpur, MaharashtraExperience - 2+ years in Agronomy Languages - English, Hindi, and MarathiDesired Candidate ProfileB.Sc (Agriculture) degree from a recognized university.Strong understanding of agricultural practices, including pest management techniques.Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.Deep knowledge and experience in agriculture and farming practicesExperience in analyzing and interpreting agricultural dataStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work well in a team and collaborate with farmersJob Responsibilities -Provide leadership and active technical support to various agriculture and allied activities and respond to queries of the farmers/project teams.Document best farming practices, maintaining databases, and keeping them up-to-date.Ensure that technical know-how on agri products and technologies is maintained and effectively transferred to all the teams.Stay up-to-date with developments in agricultural technology and act as a point of contact for any technical queries.Engage in farmer and partner research to sharpen our understanding of the ecosystem and to uncover learnings/insights. Work on marketing and sales strategy and ensure all sales targets are being met by the teamFocus on customer experience is a must!
