Company DescriptionEmsol is a multidisciplinary engineering design firm supporting projects across the Infrastructure and Building sectors, with active engagements in the U.S. and other international markets. We specialize in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and deliver high-quality engineering support using leading platforms.We are seeking a part-time, remote MEP Engineer with expertise across HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical design for U.S.-based building projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with U.S. codes and standards and the ability to work independently while coordinating with our global team.Responsibilities:Design HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems for commercial, residential, and institutional buildings per U.S. codes and standards.Produce coordinated MEP layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM tools.Conduct load calculations, equipment selection, and duct/piping sizing for HVAC and plumbing systems.Develop single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and lighting layouts for electrical systems.Collaborate with architects and structural engineers for coordinated deliverables.Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs as needed.Maintain awareness of updates to relevant codes and industry best practices (ASHRAE, NEC, IPC, IMC, NFPA).Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).Minimum 3 years of U.S. project experience in MEP design.Familiarity with ASHRAE, NEC, IMC, IPC, and NFPA is a must.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and at least one MEP design software (e.g., HAP, Trace 700, Dialux, etc.).Strong communication and coordination skills.Ability to work remotely and deliver on time with minimal supervision.PE license preferred (or in progress).Additional Details:Location: RemoteHours: Part-time (10–20 hours/week, flexible)
