Job Title: Lead - BSA - TMLocation: ChennaiType: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TMS) Architect to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of advanced transportation solutions. Role Overview:Lead the architecture, design, and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) systems. Collaborate across technical and business teams, driving innovation and agility in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Own the technical architecture and design of SAP S/4HANA TM solutions.Oversee software delivery, project scope, risk, and resource management.Guide enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with IT roadmap.Analyze business needs, define system scope, and manage full development lifecycle.Configure and maintain complex TMS processes and integrations.Lead teams, mentor developers, and enforce best practices (Agile, DevOps, etc.).Act as a liaison with internal/external partners and stakeholders.Document key processes and stay updated on industry trends.Travel as needed to support implementation at plants/DCs.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of experience in SAP TM design, configuration, and deployment.5+ years of functional SAP TM experience, with at least 1–2 end-to-end S/4HANA TM implementations.Core Competencies:Expertise in SAP TM master data: Business Partners, Dangerous Goods, Locations, Routes, Vehicles, HUs.Deep knowledge of OTR/DTR processes, optimizer planning, tendering, and freight execution.Strong experience in SAP TM Charge Management: rate tables, calculation sheets, freight agreements.Hands-on integration with SAP EWM, SAP LBN, Project44, PC Miler, SMC3, MaxLoad.Working knowledge of ABAP (BADI, debugging, ALV reports) preferred.Experience in SAP LBN Dock Appointment Scheduling is a plus.Soft Skills & Leadership:Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management.Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities in cross-functional, global teams.Effective in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.Customer-focused with a drive for delivering high-quality solutions.
