This role is exclusively focused on the U.S. market and requires up-to-date fluency in American education funding priorities, policies, and public-private funding mechanisms.Key ResponsibilitiesU.S. Grant Opportunity MappingContinuously monitor and evaluate U.S.-based funding opportunities, including federal (NSF, DOE, DOL, ED), state, and philanthropic sources.Stay ahead of updates related to AI in education, STEM pathways, high-impact tutoring, workforce development, and digital equity initiatives.Grant Strategy & Proposal DevelopmentLead end-to-end writing and submission of grant proposals tailored to U.S. agencies and funders.Develop compelling narratives that align Dumroo.ai’s platform with U.S. national goals like expanding AI literacy, boosting STEM talent pipelines, and supporting rural and underserved communities.Federal Policy & Compliance ExpertiseInterpret and apply current U.S. federal guidance around AI-enabled instruction, career-connected learning, and WIOA-eligible programs.Ensure proposals comply with grant eligibility, evaluation, data-sharing, and reporting expectations.Partnerships & Consortium BuildingBuild and manage partnerships with U.S. school districts, state education agencies, workforce boards, research institutions, and nonprofit networks.Collaborate on multi-stakeholder grant applications (e.g., Research-Practice Partnerships, regional workforce consortia, STEM ecosystems).Grant Calendar & Pipeline ManagementMaintain an organized pipeline of grant deadlines, submission progress, and post-award reporting.Provide regular briefings to internal leadership on new U.S. grant initiatives and legislative developments.Required QualificationsExperience:At least 5 years of proven success writing awarded U.S. education, STEM, or workforce development grants.Demonstrated success with grants over $250,000, ideally from federal programs like NSF ITEST, ATE, S-STEM, DOE Education Innovation and Research, DOL Pathways to Employment, etc.U.S.-Specific Expertise:Deep understanding of the U.S. education funding ecosystem—including federal grantmaking priorities, philanthropic trends, and state/federal alignment.Active awareness of the 2025 U.S. Executive Order on AI, and its implications for education and workforce development.Skills:Outstanding writing and strategic framing skills tailored to U.S. funders.Ability to craft proposals that blend technology innovation with educational impact and equity goals.High level of comfort working with U.S. educators, researchers, policy leaders, and tech developers.Bonus SkillsExperience with U.S.-based cooperative AI or AI-in-education research proposals.Familiarity with common U.S. grant portals (e.g., grants.gov, NSF FastLane/Research.gov, SAM.gov).Experience with rural education, BIPOC-serving institutions, or informal STEM learning contexts in the U.S.What We OfferRemote-first U.S. work environmentChance to lead Dumroo.ai’s entry into national AI education funding pipelinesCompetitive base pay + performance bonuses based on funding outcomesImpact-driven culture with a focus on social equity and innovation
