Leveraging cutting-edge analytics and robust governance frameworks, ACER strives to build credibility through transparent processes, consistent evaluations, and a commitment to long-term value creation.Position Summary:It is seeking a highly experience and strategic Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to lead, oversee and manage the compliance function across the organization to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, corporate governance policies, internal policies, and ethical standards. The CCO ensures adherence to regulatory, legal and internal compliances to protect the company integrity reputation accountability and sustainability critical role in developing and implementing robust compliance programs, mitigating legal and regulatory risks, and promoting a culture of integrity and accountability.Key Responsibilities:1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies, procedures and controls aligned with applicable laws, regulations, and best credit rating industry standards.2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirement on regulations, rules, notification and instructions issued by regulatory bodies such as SEBI, RBI, IREDA, FEMA and other regulatory authorities.3. Monitor regulatory developments related to credit rating agencies and update compliance function at organization level accordingly.4. Lead and oversee internal controls reporting mechanism to Ensure the organization complies with applicable laws, regulations, and standards relevant to its operations.5. Identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks and provide guidance on risk mitigation.6. Work closely with internal & external audit, legal, and risk teams to ensure alignment and effective risk controls7. Serve as the primary compliance officer and liaison with regulatory bodies (SEBI, RBI, etc.), responding to inquiries, inspections, audits and enforcement actions and its timely resolution.8. Support the board and senior management with compliance reporting, policy reviews, and governance frameworks.9. Oversee internal investigations of compliances breaches and violations along with implementing appropriate corrective actions.10. Ensure internal policies are current, effective, and reflective of regulatory (SEBI, RBI, etc.) expectations.11. Arrange and provide training and guidance to employees and management on compliance obligations along with best ethical and corporate governance practices.Qualifications:ACS with Bachelor’s degree in Law with an additional Master’s Degree preferred.10+ years of experience in compliance, legal, audit, or regulatory affairs, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Preference for candidate having valid certificate of NISM Series III-A-Securities Intermediaries Compliance Certification Examination.In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing credit rating agencies and financial institutions and IOSCO Principles for CRAs.Proven track record of developing and leading compliance programsStrong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with proven ability to influence at senior levels with ethical standards.Certifications in Banking Compliance from IIBF or additional certifications in legal / compliance domain will be an added advantage.
