Our partnership with SAP and ecosystem of partners enables us to continuously improve solutions to make companies and their people more successful.Would you like to take the next step in your career and be part of our highly qualified team?Job Title: Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)Experience: 7- 10 YearsJob Location: HyderabadMode of work: Work from officeJob Summary:The Information Systems Security Officer (hereafter referred to as “ISSO”) is responsible for the implementation of various security controls to be implemented within the company and shall perform the information security governance processes as below upon the appointment by the executives.Direct: Directly work with Global Information Security team to Develop the information security strategies and policies aligning with the Company/Group’s business objectives and risk appetite.▪Conduct the information security initiatives according to the approved information security policies and strategies.▪Foster a security-positive culture within the Company/Group.Monitor:▪Set the performance indicators for information security management activities within theCompany/Group.▪Report to executives the current status and issues of information security management activities within the Company/Group.▪Alert executives to risks related to information security within and outside the Company/Group.Evaluate:▪Evaluate the achievements of information security management activities.▪Build action plans according to the achievement above and priorities determined by Executives to seek approvals.Communicate:▪Advise executives on issues that require their attention or decision.▪Provide advice and support necessary for executives to fulfill their accountability to external stakeholders or regulatory bodies.▪Share information related to security with other NTT Group Companies.ISSO ResponsibilitiesThe ISSO has the main responsibility and authority to drive the followings with respect to various systems, including those systems in use for commercial services, and various operations, including services for external stakeholders, within the Company/Group’s business.Comply with the requirements of the NTT Group Information Security Policy, the Security Control Standards, laws and regulations, and contractual obligations, regarding information security.Prioritize what needs to be protected and implement security controls in accordance with the priority by taking into account the characteristics of the company.Create, update, approve, and disseminate information security regulations for the Company/Group.Drive information security in cooperation with legal affairs, general affairs, human resources, auditing, privacy and other business units.Ensure resources for implementing information security initiatives (including securing and training of personnel).Establish and manage organizational, personnel, physical and technical information security controls.Establish and operate an information security management team to support activities related to security information classification, security risk analysis, auditing, supplier contracts (including contracts with partner companies), and business continuity plans.Find potential issues and collect information related to information security.Support the detection and response to information security incidents.Prepare and conduct exercises for early detection, response, and recovery assuming that even defense-in-depth controls can be compromised.Prepare and provide information security education and awareness programs.Monitor the adequacy and effectiveness of information security initiatives and report them to executives of the Company/Group.Collaborate with internal or external audit organizations to evaluate information security processes.Expected Skillset for ISSO -PositionEducationISSO have a combination of computer science skills and business experience with at least 7-10 years of experience in Information Security.IT ExperienceA ISSO should have a good deal of experience with IT and especially security solutions and systems.Risk ManagementISSO must be able to understand risk, identify and assess risk as well as manage risk by supporting relevant stakeholders.CertificationE.g., CCISO (certified chief information security officer) by the EC-Council,CISSP (certified information systems security professional) by ISC², and the CISM (certified information security manager) by ISACA.Business ExperienceISSO must possess core competencies that include governance, system controls, auditing, compliance management, operations management, strategic planning, and finance and risk management.Communications and Presentation SkillsA ISSO must also be able to communicate with business managers and the Board about their operational needs and security requirements.Are you the person we're looking for?
