Industry Type: IT-Software, RCM / US Medical BillingLocation: Navi Mumbai (Ghansoli)Division: Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Position overview: We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Associate Director - Accounts Receivable (AR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large AR teams within the RCM or US medical billing industry. This individual will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, ensuring optimal revenue collection and leading a high-performing AR team. Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage a large, high-performing AR team to ensure efficient billing processes and timely collections.Design and implement strategies to optimize revenue cycle performance, with a focus on reducing accounts receivable days outstanding.Leverage industry best practices and innovative solutions to enhance cash flow and minimize denials.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement. This may include metrics such as average collection days, cash flow ratios, and percentage of denied claims.Ensure KPIs are measurable, actionable and reflective of team efficiency and overall high performance.Implement a robust monitoring system to track KPIs regularly. This can be done through automated reporting tools, dashboards, or regular reviews. Regular monitoring allows for timely identification of trends and patterns.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Tech, Billing, Coding, and Operations, to streamline processes and elevate revenue outcomes.Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of performance, ownership, and continuous improvement.Skills Required:15-18 years of progressive experience in the RCM or US medical billing industry in AR, with at least 7 years in managerial capacity.Minimum five (5) years of continuous employment with a single organization, demonstrating stability and long-term impact.Demonstrated success in managing large AR teams with a span of control of at least 500+ FTEs.In-depth knowledge of revenue cycle processes, billing systems, and healthcare reimbursement methodologies.Highly disciplined and must be very good in stakeholder management.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in leveraging data for informed decision-making and performance enhancements.Excellent leadership skills, good task master, good communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changes in the industry. Education: Graduate (Any stream), Postgraduate in management (preferred)Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent.
