As a Senior Engineer, you will work as part of a global team supported by our business and architecture partners to help us collaboratively design, develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions that drive lululemon’s business goals. This role specifically is in the Portfolio, Applications, Commerce and Transactions team which supports lululemon’s Digital Commerce & Omni-channel fulfillment experiences across geographies with varying technologies.Who You Are:The ideal candidate performs the development of high-performing, well-tested, and thoughtfully architected software applications that satisfy our internal business needs and power guest experiences. Has proven experience in effectively applying mathematical, and social principles to design, build, & maintain technology products, and solutions that provide fantastic customer experiences.A Day in the Life:As a Software Engineer focusing on frontend development, you will develop front end guest experiences with test automation to ensure the product quality of a highly scalable cloud native solution. You will be part of a day-to-day production release team and may perform on-call support functions as needed. You will be considered a primary caretaker of the production system(s) you work on and focus on how to optimize them for efficiency, security, resiliency, and reliability.Design, develop, maintain, and test applications using React 18, with understanding of hooks, and the latest features.Experience with Next.js 13, including its static generation and server-side rendering capabilities.Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including JavaScript object model, with a solid understanding of TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable applications.Expertise in HTML5 and CSS3, with a focus on responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.Hands-on experience with GraphQL( SE-I – Mandatory), including schema design, resolvers, and making API calls. Have a good understanding of algorithms, data structures, programming languages, programming paradigms to test and operate sustainable client-side or server-side software applications and services.Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization effortsParticipate in on-call support rotation.Actively monitor key metrics, reports on trends, and make improvement recommendationsParticipate in our Engineering Community of Practice.Perform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectations.Must Haves:Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life.Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent 5-6 (For Engineer I) / 7-9 (Engineer II) years of software engineering experience3-5 years of experience designing and developing frontend applications using JavaScript technologies and React framework.Strong software development fundamentals, including automated testing, source control, continuous integration in addition to continuous delivery and/or deployment.Experience with monitoring and alerting for frontend applications.Hands-on experience to support development, infrastructure, and operations.Experience working with security log analysis, application logs, and general log management practices.Familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, EKS and AWS deployment/architecture best practices is a strong plus.Understanding of Kubernetes concepts for container deployment, scaling, and management is a strong plus.Commerce domain knowledge is a strong plus.
