Company Overview : Pharmint is a B2B cross-border pharmaceutical platform connecting thousands of pharmaceutical professionals and suppliers to streamline the supply chain and enhance medicine accessibility, especially in underserved regions such as Southeast Asia, LATAM, and Africa. Our mission is to make medicine affordable and accessible while combating inflated costs and counterfeit drugs. Position Overview : The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities for Pharmint, ensuring the efficient sourcing and purchasing of pharmaceutical products. This role requires strong negotiation skills, expertise in cross-border operations, and experience in the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will lead the process of receiving orders, reaching out to suppliers, negotiating deals, and ensuring timely follow-ups to guarantee smooth procurement operations. Key Responsibilities : 1. Order Management : Simplify and categorize incoming orders into clear priorities and sequences with clear tracking. Develop a clear chronology for procurement, managing the process from order receipt to final delivery. 2. Supplier Communication & Sourcing : Reach out to suppliers to obtain quotations for the required pharmaceutical products. Compare prices and terms across suppliers to identify the best deals. Evaluate supplier proposals based on price, terms, and quality. 3. Negotiation & Contracting : Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals. Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for Pharmint. Sign contracts with suppliers, ensuring all legal and contractual requirements are met. 4. Payment & Terms Management : Negotiate favorable payment terms while maintaining positive relationships with suppliers. Manage the payment process and ensure that all payments are completed on time. 5. Follow-ups & Compliance : Regularly follow up with suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery of goods. Ensure that Non-Circumvention, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NCNDA) are signed and in place with all suppliers and partners to protect Pharmint’s interests. 6. Cross-Border & Industry Expertise : In-depth knowledge of cross-border procurement operations, particularly in pharmaceutical markets, to manage complex international trade challenges. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and quality standards for pharmaceutical products. 7. Team Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth end-to-end procurement processes. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on procurement progress and any issues that arise. Qualifications : 5+ years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on cross-border operations and pharmaceutical industries. Proven track record in negotiating contracts, securing favorable terms, and managing supplier relationships. Strong understanding of international trade, including regulatory and customs requirements. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Experience with contract management, payment terms, and supply chain coordination.
