Job Description

We are looking for experienced eGate Developer & Electronic Engineer to design, develop, and implement automated border control (ABC) systems, eGates, and access control solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic hardware design, embedded systems, biometric integration, and security protocols to ensure seamless and secure operation of eGates.Key Responsibilities:Software Development & System Integration:Develop and integrate eGate control software using programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, or Java.Implement biometric authentication solutions, including fingerprint, facial recognition, and iris scanning.Work with RFID, NFC, and smart card readers for identity verification and authentication.Ensure compliance with ICAO, ISO, and biometric security standards for eGate systems.Develop APIs and interfaces for seamless integration with passport readers, databases, and border control systems.Optimize AI-based identity verification for fast and accurate authentication.Implement and maintain PLC programming for automation and control of eGate systems.Integrate and configure sensors, motors, and actuators for automated gate control.Work with communication protocols (RS232, RS485, TCP/IP, USB, CAN Bus) for hardware connectivity.Implement cryptographic security measures to protect sensitive biometric and identity data.Work closely with security teams to conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on eGate systems.Perform hardware testing, debugging, and troubleshooting for reliability and performance.Collaborate with government agencies, airport authorities, and security firms to deploy eGates.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed eGate solutions.Document system architecture, user manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Stay updated with emerging technologies in biometric security, AI, and electronic engineering.Qualification & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Engineer, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 10 years total relevant experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Certifications:Certified Embedded Systems Engineer (CESE)Certified Biometrics Professional (CBP)Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)ICAO PKI and eMRTD Certification
