This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, incident response, cloud security, and identity & access management. The IT Security Lead will be responsible for developing and implementingsecurity protocols, managing the IT security team, and ensuring compliance with relevantlaws and regulations.Job Description*As a Senior General Manager for IT Security, you will be responsible for leading and managing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific IT security projects. This role will ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of security standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments.Principal Accountabilities*Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect the company's digital assetsLead the IT security team, providing guidance, and ensuring the team is up-to-date with the latest security systems and threatsConduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actionsManage the incident response process, including the investigation of security breaches and the implementation of corrective actionsEnsure the company's security systems comply with relevant laws and regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAACollaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into their processesManage the company's identity and access management system, ensuring only authorized individuals have access to sensitive informationOversee the company's cloud security strategy, ensuring data stored in the cloud is secureStay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies and implement them as necessaryManage conflicts within the team and ensure a collaborative working environmentProvide regular reports to senior management on the company's security status.Key Interactions*Top Management, Mid Management, Junior Management, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Client Relations, Financial Auditing, Vendor Management
