Role Overview:The Payroll Specialist at Looks Salon will play a critical role in managing and overseeing all HR operational activities, ensuring smooth HR processes including payroll management, compliance, documentation handling, HR audits, and managing legal obligations related to employee management. The Payroll specialist will ensure that the HR department is efficient, compliant, and aligned with business goals.Key Responsibilities:1. Documentation & ComplianceEnsure that all employee documents (offer letters, contracts, NDAs, personal details, etc.) are correctly stored and managed, adhering to legal and company requirements.Monitor and maintain all employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance with labor laws.Prepare and submit reports related to HR documentation, compliance audits, and other regulatory requirements.Ensure the organization is compliant with labor laws, industry regulations, and best practices related to HR operations.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in laws and regulations that affect HR policies and practices.2. Payroll ManagementOversee and manage the monthly payroll process for all employees.Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee salaries, bonuses, commissions, and deductions.Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory benefits (e.g., PF, ESI, Gratuity) during payroll processing.Collaborate with finance to ensure the correct disbursement of salaries and resolve any discrepancies in payroll processing.Manage and track employee attendance and leave management to ensure accurate payroll calculations.3. HR Audit & Process ImprovementConduct regular internal HR audits to ensure all processes are running smoothly and that compliance is maintained.Identify gaps in HR processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.Work closely with internal audit teams and external auditors to prepare for periodic audits and inspections.Implement corrective actions to address audit findings and minimize risks related to HR practices.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
