Role Overview:The International Admissions Advisor role will focus on guiding recruitment partners, education counsellors and students through the entire university application process, including program guidance, application completion, from first point of contact to acceptance. The International Admissions Advisor will also be responsible for creating a clear networking plan to establish and solidify ILAC Education Group’s brand awareness in the market. The position involves cooperative work across all departments within the organization.In addition, the International Admissions Advisor will ensure that agencies have the information they need to market approved programs, and that the visa application processes for their students are being managed in a timely and communicative manner. Finally, the International Admissions Advisor is to act as the main liaison between ILAC Education Group and our partners.This position will be based in India (flexible on location).Key responsibilities and capabilities: Offer accurate information on programs, enrolment process and relevant recruitment/admission policies and procedures to all partner agents, high schools, universities, and potential applicants.Develop and manage industry partnerships to generate strong and diverse sales pipeline to meet annual and future targets. Regular student application screening to ensure students meet all the admissions criteria. Manage growth of partnerships and enrollment numbers year over year. Understand all required admissions documentation and work with partners and students for the collection of all required documents in a timely manner.Provide assistance with application status, acceptance letters and all other admissions related matter to students and partners.Attend events and fairs to train, strengthen agent partnerships and generate student pipeline. Maintain accurate and complete report of expenses incurred as part of the marketing and recruitment efforts. Assist individual students (without an agent) through the admissions process and with all required documents including pre-arrival, accommodation and travel needs and requests. Respond to a high volume of emails and calls from students, applicants and agents.Bring items of concern that are inhibiting the success of international students, individually or as a group, to the immediate attention of management.Help contact international students when campus staff are having difficulty reaching them.Assist students with immigration queries- directing them to appropriate professionals.Provide regular updates for international student status and agency performance to management.Maintain a good working knowledge of the ILAC Higher Education portfolio, courses, special offers, and the entry requirements in order to provide suitable advice to applicants, and to accurately assess applicants. Other duties as assigned.Person Specification and Qualifications:Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Marketing, International Relations or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in a student recruitment role within an American or Canadian post-secondary institution.Strong desire to assist students and grow company’s brand; a keen ability to connect with potential students and agents. Ability to communicate proficiently over the phone and electronically.Understanding of MS Office products- particularly Word, Publisher, and Excel.Highly organized, dependable, and trustworthy professional.Strong work ethic and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.Proven track record of working independently, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
