OpenTelemetry Implementation Specialist – Remote – Long-Term ContractI'm currently working with a global consultancy who are looking for an experienced OpenTelemetry (OTel) Implementation Expert to support an exciting enterprise-wide observability transformation programme. This is a long-term contract with a focus on cloud-native observability and monitoring solutions across both AWS and Azure platforms.What You’ll Be Doing: ✅ Designing and delivering an enterprise observability strategy based on OpenTelemetry ✅ Addressing data silos across monitoring tools to deliver true end-to-end visibility ✅ Integrating OpenTelemetry with platforms such as Dynatrace, ELK, Splunk, Grafana, Honeycomb, AWS ADOT and Azure AMBA ✅ Instrumenting applications using OpenTelemetry, and implementing collectors, receivers and exporters ✅ Supporting integration across multi-cloud environments (AWS & Azure) ✅ Working alongside internal teams to deploy cloud-native services with TerraformWhat We’re Looking For: ✔️ 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role with a focus on observability and monitoring ✔️ Deep technical knowledge of OpenTelemetry – spec, best practices, instrumentation and ecosystem ✔️ Strong experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Honeycomb) ✔️ Solid background in at least one programming language – Python, Go, Java or JavaScript preferred ✔️ Cloud-native experience with AWS and Azure, ideally with observability tools such as ADOT and AMBA ✔️ Terraform experience is highly desirable ✔️ Excellent communication skills and fluency in EnglishLocation: Remote – Must be based in India Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until 31st December 2025If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, apply now and I’ll be in touch to set up a chat.
