Capable to review and develop technical specifications, data sheets and technical bid evaluation of electrical equipment and materials (transformers, switchgears, MCC, UPS, EDG, cables, lighting & bulk). Strong skills in single line drawings and schematics. Expertise in lighting, earthing and lightning calculations. Good knowledge in Hazardous area classification. Good knowledge of International Codes & Standards like IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, NACE, ASME, ANSI, IP, API, ASTM, ISO, Shell DEP.RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the design of main electrical equipment and materials.Prepare and review technical specifications and data sheetsPrepare electrical equipment and material sizing calculations.prepare Hazardous Area Classification with Designer support (only 2D drawings), Panel schedules (Power and Lighting), Interconnection and Wiring Diagrams, Control SchematicsPrepare MTO/BOM, Lighting Calculations, Cable Tray and Trench sizing CalculationsRequisition for Inquiry and Purchase of Electrical Equipment’s (TRANSFORMERS, SWITCHGEARS, GENERATORS, BUS DUCTS, UPS, CAPACITORS, CATHODIC PROTECTION) and Bulk Materials(Cables, Trays, Lighting and Grounding materials)Technical Bid Evaluation of Offers for Electrical Equipment’s and Bulk Materials & TB Tabulation preparation. Interact and collaborate with rest of technical disciplines involved.
