Job Title: Data EngineerWe are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking Data Engineer to join our data and analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that support advanced analytics, reporting, and machine learning initiatives. This role requires strong expertise in data architecture, ETL development, and cloud data platforms.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and manage robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for structured and unstructured dataBuild and maintain data architectures (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming systems)Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver reliable data solutionsOptimize data systems for performance, reliability, and scalabilityEnsure data quality, consistency, and security across platformsDevelop automated workflows and data validation procedures to support data operationsMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline and infrastructure issuesStay current with emerging data technologies, tools, and best practicesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related fieldProficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or ScalaHands-on experience with data pipeline tools like Apache Airflow, DBT, or similarSolid understanding of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL) and cloud data services (AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, or Azure Synapse)Familiarity with big data frameworks like Apache Spark or HadoopStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as CodeExposure to data governance, cataloging, and metadata management toolsKnowledge of real-time data processing tools such as Kafka or KinesisExperience working with data modeling and schema design for analyticsPrior involvement in supporting machine learning pipelines or advanced analytics initiativesIf you're passionate about data engineering and building reliable data infrastructure that powers decision-making, we’d love to hear from you.
