What You’ll Do ● Own and develop technical architecture, design and implementation of data platforms and business analytics solutions to empower large stakeholder groups to solve their data driven analytics and reporting needs. ● Align with leaders (Directors and above) to define and develop the data architecture and data solution roadmap for the company’s most important initiatives ● Lead teams to develop best in class high performing, easy-to-use self-service BI solutions and AI/ML capabilities ● Lead multiple concurrent initiatives to develop custom, self-service BI solutions to help solve complex business challenges we face every day ● Develop a strategic working relationship with cross-functional leaders to align these data solutions to their KPI’s, levers, and business goals. ● Build, lead, and mentor a team of highly talented data professionals ● Manage and mentor associates; ensure the team is being challenged, exposed to new opportunities, and learning, while still being able to deliver on ambitious goals. ●Develop a technical center of excellence within the analytics organization through training, mentorship, and process innovation. What You Have: ● Demonstrated success working with executive leadership, developing a data architecture roadmap, and providing recommendations that drive business strategy and achieve high impact results. ● Solid understanding of streaming pipelines, event-driven architecture, DW architectures, and big data technologies. ● Experienced developing in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (preferred), AWS, Azure, or Snowflake at scale. ● Experience with one or more relevant tools (Kafka, Avro, Sqoop, Flume, Parquet) and SQL-on-Hadoop technology (Hive, Spark SQL, Presto) ● Experience with real-time data streaming tools like Kafka, Beam, Flink, Kinesis, Apache Storm or any similar tools. ● Experience leading the development of custom built BI and big data reporting solutions using tools like Airflow, Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, AtScale, Power BI, Qlik, or any similar tools. ● Strong business acumen, analytical skills and technical abilities along with problem solving skills. ● Experience with code management tools (e.g. Git, SVN) and DevOps tools (e.g. Docker, Bamboo, Jenkins) ● Excellent communication and presentation skills with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and C level executives. ● Experience leading and managing multiple team/projects at any given time supporting and cross-functional stakeholders ● Prior programming experience with Python, Java, Scala, C++ ● Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Management or other engineering or quantitative discipline field.What we'd love to see (but isn't required): ● Supply Chain or Ecommerce analytics experience a strong plus ● Prior experience in data science or closely related quantitative field ● Hands-on experience building and deploying production ML models at scale
