The Head – Contracting & Product will be responsible for negotiating and securing competitive hotel rates and terms, building and managing relationships with hotel partners, and ensuring contract performance to maximize profitability.This leadership role is pivotal to driving the company's travel offerings by building a robust hotel inventory and creating customized accommodation experiences for clients, while supporting revenue growth through smart supplier negotiations and strategic partnerships.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hotel contracting, a deep understanding of market trends, and an ability to create and maintain supplier networks that support the company's service excellence.-------------------Key Responsibilities:Negotiation and Contract Management- Lead hotel contracting efforts for All India, negotiating the best rates, allocations, commissions, and favorable terms with hotels. - Secure annual rate contracts that align with the business's financial goals and client expectations. - Drive strategic negotiations to enhance product margins and competitiveness.Relationship Building- Cultivate and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with hotel management teams, regional sales heads, and key decision-makers. - Act as the primary point of contact for hotel partners, ensuring smooth collaboration and resolving any operational or commercial concerns.Market Analysis- Research and analyze the hotel market across key domestic and emerging destinations. - Identify trends, new hotel openings, partnership opportunities, and shifts in consumer preferences to stay ahead of the market.Supplier Management- Manage existing hotel supplier relationships to ensure consistent service delivery and value. - Conduct regular performance reviews and negotiate renewals or updates to existing contracts where required.Contract Administration- Ensure the accurate and timely execution of all hotel contracts, rate loading, and documentation. - Track critical contract details such as payment schedules, block allocations, release periods, and deadlines.Product Development- Collaborate with the product and operations teams to design curated hotel stay experiences and destination packages. - Recommend new hotels or alternative accommodation options that enrich the company’s offerings.Performance Monitoring- Monitor the performance of contracted hotels in terms of service quality, rate competitiveness, and client satisfaction. - Identify underperforming partnerships and recommend corrective actions to optimize inventory usage and profitability.Communication and Collaboration- Work closely with internal teams including pricing, revenue management, sales, and marketing to ensure the alignment of hotel contracts with business needs. - Provide continuous support to operations and sales teams on hotel-related queries and requirements.Travel and Inspection- Travel periodically to key destinations to inspect hotel properties, strengthen supplier relationships, and assess opportunities firsthand.-------------------Qualifications & SkillsEducation:- Graduate from any discipline preferred; a background in Hospitality, Travel, or Business Management will be an added advantage.Experience:- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in hotel contracting, preferably in travel companies, DMCs, or tour operators. - Proven experience in securing large-scale hotel deals and managing supplier relationships across multiple destinations.️ Skills:- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. - Deep understanding of hotel pricing structures, contract terms, and market dynamics. - Strong relationship management capabilities. - Ability to interpret financial metrics related to contracts and margins. - Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. - Willingness to travel for supplier meetings and hotel inspections.-------------------⭐ Some Good Reasons to Apply• Lead national-level hotel contracting for a prominent player in the travel and events space.• Opportunity to design hotel stay experiences that become part of high-value client journeys.• Work closely with premium hotels and resorts across India.• Attractive pay structure, leadership responsibility, and career advancement potential.-------------------How to ApplyIf this role is closed on LinkedIn, you can still apply by sharing your updated CV through the registration form link here: with our specialized hiring consultant for Events | Travel | Experiential Jobs:Devyani Chawla – Events and Travel Hiring Specialist (LinkedIn)We appreciate your application!
