As the trusted technology and business partner of leading MNCs, including Global Investment Banks, Smart IMS is also a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Oracle Platinum Partner and AWS MSP Partner.We are looking to hire an experiencedVMware Engineerin Mumbaito support our client, a topglobal investment bank.The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in bothVMware HorizonandinfrastructureResponsibilities: Act as an escalation point for VMware support tickets, routed after L1 and onsite IT support have been engaged. Support, configure, and maintain VMware Horizon environments (including virtual desktops, connection servers, and desktop pools). Troubleshoot and resolve complex VDI issues across multiple user environments. Collaborate with internal teams and users to identify root causes and long-term solutions. Perform scripting (PowerShell preferred) tasks to automate processes in VMware infrastructure Ensure high performance, availability, and security of the EUC infrastructure. Contribute to platform upgrades, patching, system documentation, and operational best practices.Requirements: At least 2-3 years ofsupportexperience withVMware Horizon View / VDI Experience withVMware infrastructure(eg. vSphere / vCenter / ESXi) Scriptingexperience(e.g., PowerShell, Bash)on VMware projects / products will be required Familiarity with VMware EUC tools such as App Volumes, Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM/UEM), and ThinApp. Strong communication skills; ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and end users. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a logical and creative approach. VMware experience in the financial / banking industry will be an advantage.
