The Director – Strategic Sourcing and Contracting is a global leadership role responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, leading complex negotiations, and managing contract lifecycle processes to deliver sustainable value and risk mitigation. The role will lead high-performing teams, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive supplier performance and innovation across categories and regions.- Lead enterprise-wide sourcing strategy development across key spend categories. - Partner with business leaders to understand demand forecasts and align sourcing initiatives with organizational goals. - Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions and risk management. - Oversee the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewal of commercial and vendor contracts. - Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and business units to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. - Standardize templates, clauses, and negotiation playbooks to drive consistency and efficiency. - Serve as a senior escalation point for complex and high-risk agreements. - Build and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers and partners globally. - Develop governance models and performance scorecards to ensure supplier accountability and continuous improvement. - Drive supplier innovation, ESG/sustainability goals, and risk mitigation strategies.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (MBA or JD preferred). - 18+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, category management, and contracting in a complex, global environment. - Demonstrated success in leading large-scale sourcing initiatives and high-value negotiations. - Deep understanding of contract law, procurement compliance, and global supplier landscapes.
