Job descriptionThis is a full time role, please do not apply if you are looking for a contracted role.The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications using Wordpress/WooCommerce. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. They should be able to lead a team of developers and own delivery of high quality code.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain high traffic web applications built on Wordpress/Woocommerce.Develop and optimize existing features, as well as prototype and implement new features for WooCommerce Applications.Ability to design and implement elegant and simple software solutions for business problems.Prototyping with new technologies to evaluate them for inclusion in our technology stackImproving website performance, availability, resource usageContributing to the continual improvement of our development processQualificationsAbility to do quick development using PHP is a MUST, do not apply if you have no exposure to one of these languages or you have not done hands on software development.Ability to develop plugins for WordPress/Woocommerce is MUST. If you are not writing Plugins regularly please do not apply.It is important you have exposure to any one of the frameworks like Zend, CodeIgniter or packages like or Joomla,Good understanding of Front end technologies like Javascript and CSS is important.We are looking for candidates with 6 to 8 years of experience.Exposure to one of Magento or Shopify is a big plus.Solid understanding of general principles of web technologies is a must.Analytical thinker, self-motivated and driven to learn new technologies.A constant desire to improve, learn more, and take things higher producing quality deliverables
