Dear Candidate,Please find below Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMongoDB and Ops manager database professional responsible for managing, monitoring, and securing large and complex MongoDB and Ops manager environments across data centres using best practices , automating functions, and enhancing monitoring and observability and managing product lifecycle (upgrades and patchset) in a highly regulated environment.They want someone who can work as a IC and worked as L3 support, have experience on Ops manager and in cloud- they want GCP primarily. If they don’t have GCP, AWS or azure will also work.Experience :- 4 to 8 years onlyLocation :- PAN INDIAMandatory Skills for MongoDB & Ops Manager Role:1. MongoDB Ops Manager – Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting experience.2. Cloud Experience – Especially in GCP; AWS or Azure acceptable as alternatives3. L3 Support Experience – Able to work independently as an Individual Contributor (IC).4. Replica Sets and Sharded Clusters – Hands-on experience in setting up and managing.5. Database Upgrades & Patch Management – Must have experience in productionenvironments.6. Security Configuration – Including LDAP, Kerberos, Active Directory, and MongoDB authentication/authorization.7. Monitoring & Observability Tools – Such as Logstash, Kibana, AppDynamics, or Splunk.8. Automation & Scripting – Using Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and CI/CD tools.9. Disaster Recovery (DR) & High Availability (HA) – Design and implementation experience.10. REST API Usage – Familiarity with MongoDB REST APIs for management tasks.- Installing, and configuring Ops manager servers and agents - Manage databases in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure. - Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the database to include rollout and upgrades - Supporting MongoDB databases scaled across data centers. - Experience in setting up replica sets . - Experience in Setting up, configuring, and scaling up MongoDB database environments - Experience setting up and configuring replicated and sharded MongoDB database environments - Prior experience in capacity management and system up size requirements - Creating and Managing MongoDB projects, Users and managing backups using S3 bucket store - Design and implement DR plans & HA solutions and best practices - Enabling and Configuring encryption, authentication and authorization for MongoDB and Ops manager, knowledge on MongoDB Security, LDAP, Kerberos and AD - Apply major Database upgrades and security patches at Database and OS level - Experience on enhancing observability using MongoDB logs via Logstash/Kibana/AppDynamics or Splunk - Troubleshoot and resolve OpsManager and MongoDB related issues (performance, access related, configuration, monitoring) - Experience in Python, Powershell , Ansible, CICD and automation platform - Experience using MongoDB Rest API'sRegardsDivya Grover
