Job Description

Job Title: Sales Lead – Non-Retail Sector (Supply Chain SaaS Solutions) Sales Strategy & Execution Develop and implement a strategic sales plan targeting non-retail sectors in alignment with overall business goals. Identify and prioritize key verticals including manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, industrial goods, and 3PL. Establish a clear roadmap to penetrate these sectors and ensure long-term business growth. Revenue & Business Growth Take full P&L ownership for WMS, TMS, and other supply chain SaaS offerings within non-retail sectors. Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets by closing high-value enterprise deals. Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across key industrial hubs in India. Industry-Specific Solution Selling Deeply understand sector-specific pain points and supply chain challenges. Collaborate with product teams to tailor solutions for maximum industry relevance. Present compelling business cases using ROI analysis, success stories, and technical value propositions. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, build, and lead a specialized sales team focused on non-retail verticals. Define clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics to drive accountability and success. Conduct regular training and mentorship to upskill the team in domain knowledge and sales strategy. Client Relationship Management Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders like supply chain heads, logistics managers, and IT leaders. Drive strategic sales negotiations, lead proposal presentations, and close enterprise-level deals. Ensure high customer satisfaction to enable renewals, upsells, and referrals. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development Forge partnerships with implementation firms, resellers, and system integrators serving non-retail sectors. Represent the company in industry forums, associations, and events to strengthen brand positioning and thought leadership. Market Intelligence & Reporting Track and analyze market trends, competitor moves, and technology shifts impacting target sectors. Provide regular insights, sales performance updates, and forecasts to senior leadership. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred. 2–10 years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales with proven success in non-retail sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, industrial goods, or pharmaceuticals. Strong understanding of supply chain operations including warehouse, transportation, and logistics processes. Demonstrated ability to close large, complex enterprise deals and manage end-to-end sales cycles. Experience in building and managing high-performance sales teams. Proficient in SaaS sales models, subscription pricing, and consultative selling methodologies.
