Responsibilities: Strategize and study the existing value chain of the crops, identify the potential areas of intervention Lead the setup and operation of food processing centers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations in the defined geographies under HCL Foundation’s Samuday program Develop and implement efficient food processing techniques to enhance product quality and safety Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and optimize processing workflows Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in agri-processing technologies Study the Government schemes and funding opportunities to setup the processing unit Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of processing equipment Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines Train and mentor Farmers on best practices in food processing and safety protocols Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve operational goals Travel across Uttar Pradesh rural areas to provide hands-on training to the farmers/community members.Qualification & Experience Minimum Requirements Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Agriculture Engineering, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in setting up and managing food processing centers. Strong technical knowledge of agri-processing techniques and equipment.
