Purpose of the role To lead and manage the entire commercial execution lifecycle of high-value industrial machinery orders (imports) in the PCB Assembly & Test (SMT), Semicon, Solar and EV business. This role is for NMT Group and is pivotal in aligning procurement, logistics, and execution strategies with business goals, ensuring operational excellence, supplier accountability, and customer satisfaction across domestic and international trade channels.Key Objectives Lead and oversee the complete order execution (imports) function for high-value machinery. Drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across all commercial and operational touchpoints. Strengthen vendor and logistics partnerships to ensure on-time, in-full deliveries. Optimize internal processes for documentation, purchase orders, and import/export handling, through FTWZ. Provide commercial leadership that supports revenue realization, risk mitigation, and customer retention.Job Responsibilities Take ownership of the end-to-end execution of sales and purchase orders for imports of high-value capital equipment, including domestic trades. Building a domestic supply chain to support in-house machine building operations. Manage / Build a team responsible for procurement coordination, logistics, documentation, and delivery tracking. Liaise with senior leadership, sales heads, and technical teams to ensure client specifications and delivery timelines are consistently met. Oversee contract management, including supplier agreements, Incoterms negotiation, payment terms, and warranty clauses. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements including customs (especially commercial transactions from FTWZ), DGFT, GST, and import/export laws. Build and maintain strategic relationships with global suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs handling agencies. Proactively identify risks in supply chain execution and implement contingency plans. Design / Build, and Lead ERP-based execution workflows, ensuring real-time visibility into order and inventory status. Optimize working capital by managing lead times, payment cycles, and inventory flows effectively. Report key commercial metrics to the executive team, including delivery performance, order backlog, and cost efficiency.Qualification and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, International Business, or Supply Chain Management; MBA preferred. 12–18 years of experience in commercial operations, order execution, or supply chain management, preferably in capital goods or industrial machinery. Demonstrated success managing the execution of large-value international and domestic orders. In-depth experience with customs, logistics, and vendor management in the electronics manufacturing ecosystem. Expertise in ERP systems and advanced Excel; experience implementing or optimizing commercial systems is a plus.Desired Skills The ideal candidate possesses the following skills and can demonstrate through their work experience Strong commercial acumen with a strategic approach to execution and operations.
