Job Title: Sales Head – Tamil Nadu & Kerala ( Maida & Sooji)Location: Tamil Nadu & KeralaHQ: Madurai / CoimbatoreExperience Required: 8–15 years in B2B/Bulk Sales, preferably in RICE/OIL/SUGAR/DHALL/MAIDA/SOOJI etcRole Overview:We are looking for a strategic and experienced Sales Head to drive sales of Maida and Sooji in the Tamil Nadu and Kerala markets. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding especially flour-based products, and strong connections with wholesalers, bakeries, food processors, and HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers).Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Planning:- Develop and implement a region-specific sales strategy for Maida and Sooji - Identify high-potential industrial and commercial buyers (e.g. bakeries,Hotels/ Vermicelli manufacturers, caterers). - Set monthly/quarterly sales targets and ensure consistent volume growth.Business Development:- Build strong relationships with bulk buyers, flour agents, and wholesale traders. - Drive customer acquisition in both urban and semi-urban markets. - Conduct competitor analysis and stay informed about regional pricing trends and buyer preferences.Distribution & Supply Chain Coordination:- Liaise with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. - Optimize inventory and logistics to minimize lead time and avoid stock-outs.Team Management:- Recruit, train, and manage sales officers/territory managers across TN & Kerala. - Monitor team performance and provide ongoing support and motivation. - Customer Relationship Management: - Maintain strong after-sales relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction. - Handle complaints and coordinate with the quality team where required.Qualifications:- Graduate/MBA in Marketing, Business, or related field. - 8+ years of experience in bulk/B2B sales, preferably in flour mills, DHALL,OIL,SUGAR or allied FMCG sectors. - Strong regional market knowledge of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. - Proven ability to drive volumes and establish large-scale customer bases. - Excellent communication skills in Tamil, Malayalam, and English.Preferred Skills:- Strong negotiation and networking skills. - Experience in price-sensitive B2B environments. - Familiarity with credit management and institutional supply chains.Pl share your updated resume to jobs@
