The ideal candidate should possess deep industry relationships, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for driving revenue growth through strategic advertising solutions.Key Responsibilities:- Identify, pitch, and close advertising deals across multiple platforms (print, digital, television, or radio). - Develop and maintain strong relationships with agencies, brands, and direct advertisers. - Understand client needs and propose customized advertising solutions to meet business objectives. - Drive revenue growth by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies. - Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling media proposals. - Manage end-to-end sales cycle including proposal creation, negotiation, and closure. - Provide accurate forecasts, reporting, and analysis on sales performance. - Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field. - 5+ years of proven experience in advertising/media sales from reputed media houses. - Strong network of industry contacts with advertisers and media agencies. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. - High level of initiative, energy, and motivation to achieve and exceed targets. - Knowledge of digital advertising, programmatic buying, and multi-platform media solutions is an advantage. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts effectively.Preferred Background:- Candidates from media companies like Times Group, Hindustan Times, Network18, India Today Group, Sun TV, The Hindu, etc. - Strong understanding of traditional and digital advertising ecosystems.
