We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Annotator to support our machine learning and computer vision teams. This role involves annotating agricultural images (plant leaves, crop growth, disease states) and validating IoT-based data. You will work closely with AI engineers to maintain high-quality datasets used to train critical AI models for crop health detection and farm automation.Key Responsibilities- Annotate plant and crop images for classification, segmentation, and detection tasks - Ensure high-quality labeling across modalities, including leaf diseases, growth stages, and canopy metrics - Use annotation tools such as CVAT, Roboflow, Label Studio, or equivalent - Assist with maintaining and curating large-scale image datasets - Validate sensor/image alignment across multiple crop cycles and farms - Follow annotation SOPs and contribute to their refinement - Collaborate with AI engineers to provide high-quality, structured data for model training - Participate in regular quality control audits and feedback reviewsRequired Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field - Prior experience with image annotation tools (CVAT, Labelbox, VGG Image Annotator, etc.) - Understanding of image labeling techniques (bounding boxes, segmentation masks, classification) - Basic understanding of crop anatomy or interest in agricultural systems - Strong attention to detail and data consistency - Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook, Python, or Excel for data handling is a plusPreferred Qualifications- Experience with plant disease datasets such as PlantVillage - Background in biology, agronomy, or agriculture research - Exposure to annotation QA workflows or multi-annotator review cycles - Experience working in ML teams or labeling datasets for deep learning applicationsWhat We Offer- Opportunity to contribute to real-world AI systems in agriculture - Hands-on exposure to annotated image pipelines, ML datasets, and AI-powered platforms - Dynamic, fast-paced, and impact-driven environment - Work with a passionate team on climate-resilient food systems - Growth opportunities within the AI/ML annotation and data engineering teamsHow to Apply- Interested candidates should send their resume and brief cover letter to with the subject line: "Application: Data Annotator – CV"
