Ensure daily and weekly tasks are maintained such as o Allocations o Reconciliations o Follow up of outstanding invoices o Timely claims processing o Following up and securing of relevant documents such as Proof of Delivery o Ensure you are engaged and aligned with business objectives Collection of overdue account via phone & correspondence o Maintain weekly reconciliation activity o Ensure consistent reconciliations progress and reason codes are updated accurately as often as possible to reflect current activity o Ensure text against line items is being recorded to support follow up Provide monthly commentary on overdue accounts for inclusion in EOM Reason Code Report o Ensure you select most appropriate reason code and update as required and cycle through reason codes as required through escalation o Review and have reason codes updated based upon ledger review with Team Leader Gain a thorough understanding of Distributor and warehouse processes Perform any other ad hoc duties as required by the Team Leader/Credit Manager Promote and participate in the Safety Management System and develop a proactive safety culture Be a role model for working safely and promoting a safe working environment Adhere to safe work procedures and systems in consultation with elected OH&S representatives and team members Proactively contribute to the identification and resolution of workplace hazards Work safely at all times Comply with all relevant environmental legislative requirements as a minimum performance standard Actively contribute to reducing waste, conserving water and energy and other sustainability initiatives Comply with environment management systems Actively participate in understanding your environmental responsibilities Pro-actively seek continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of environment and sustainability Actively contribute towards identifying and implementing an individual development plan and other career planning initiatives Participate in training (internal and external) to increase skills and knowledge Proactively see to implement new learnings in day to day work requirements Continually seek and recommend to your manager new opportunities to improve/innovate within the business/work environment
