Job Description

Knowledge is Must in VFX, Unity, Simulation in Unity, Shader Graph, Post Processing, Particle SystemPreferred Location: MumbaiResponsibilities: •Design, create, and implement real-time VFX (particle systems, shaders, simulations) in Unity. •Collaborate closely with game designers, 3D artists, and programmers to integrate VFX seamlessly into the game. •Optimize VFX assets for performance on various platforms (mobile, PC, console). •Create stylized, realistic, or hybrid effects based on the game’s art direction. •Prototype VFX quickly to visualize new ideas and iterate based on feedback. •Maintain a consistent visual style across all effects in the game. •Research and develop new VFX techniques and tools for better efficiency and quality.Requirements: •1 + years of experience as a VFX Artist in the gaming industry. •Strong portfolio demonstrating real-time VFX created in Unity. •Expertise with Unity’s particle system (Shuriken) and VFX Graph. •Good understanding of shader creation using Shader Graph, HLSL, or Amplify Shader Editor. •Knowledge of physics-based simulations (smoke, fire, explosions, magical effects). •Solid grasp of color theory, composition, timing, and animation principles. •Experience optimizing VFX for performance. •Familiarity with tools like Photoshop, After Effects, Houdini, or Blender. •Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Nice to Have: •Experience with mobile game VFX optimization. •Knowledge of Unity’s URP or HDRP pipelines. •Basic understanding of scripting (C#) for VFX triggering and interactions.
