Resonia (Erstwhile Sterlite Power) is hiring Assistant Vice President - HVDC DesignEducation- B.Tech / B.E- Electrical / EEEExp- 14 to 19 yearsLocation- Gurgaon (Haryana)Role Summary-The HVDC Design Leader is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems in power transmission projects. This role involves managing the technical aspects of HVDC design, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet project timelines, cost constraints, and quality requirements. The HVDC Design Leader will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies through to commissioning and operation.KRA-Design and Development:- Lead the design of HVDC systems, including converter stations, transmission lines, and associated equipment. - Conduct detailed engineering analyses and simulations to validate design parameters. - Develop and review technical documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and reports.Collaboration with OEMs:- Work independently with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to develop and refine technical solutions. - Coordinate with OEMs to ensure design compatibility and adherence to project timelines.System Integration:- Collaborate with Owners engineers and OEMs to drive HVDC system design and integration. - Ensure seamless integration of HVDC systems with existing infrastructure.Innovation and Competitiveness:- Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance the commercial competitiveness of HVDC systems. - Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies to improve system performance and cost-effectiveness.
