On going Revenue and Sales ManagementTo provide (In essence) a Head Office function excluding procurement, HR and accounts.Rates Daily rate management – yielding of rates daily to ensure optimisation of revenue. Auditing of reservations to ensure that procedure and polices are being adhered to. Monitor sales and relationships with 3rd party agents to ensure maximum exposure when needed. Direct booking strategy – fighting against the OTA’s for the market share. Set up reports and performance measures to track effectiveness and for future strategy. Build new rate plans in PMS when required. Package and promotions ie DBB, Valentine Promotion, Easter etc Daily and Monthly reporting Weekly Forecast for next 3 months Ongoing support for Reservations team and GM Annual budgeting2. Corporate Sales Manage all corporate rate requests- research, discuss and contract where appropriate Identify corporate activity into the area via GDS/RFP current production-follow up with travel manager / agent account manager to access programme where possible Highlight potential corporate accounts via GL arrivals and contact accordingly Conduct 3 monthly account reviews Renegotiate rates and complete RFP/loading of rates3.Enquiries Handle all incoming enquiries via voice or email of 8 room nights or more, identify suitability, quote, convert and contract. Once contracted handed over to the hotel for co-ordination of details, function sheets etc 24-hour turnaround response targetOther Management of reviews Invoicing and management of Aged Debtors Ongoing Management of Hotelfone (or similar service) including a monthly review call Various meetings with key stakeholders.Please note that will be no down time, i.e. no holiday time. Rates are normally yielded 6 days a week, however when required due to high demand, this will be actioned on a 7-day basis.
