Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive training programs focused on Healthcare Payer operations, including claims processing, member enrollment, and provider management. Conduct advanced training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organization. Design and create sophisticated training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, presentations, and job aids. Deliver engaging and effective training sessions through various methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning environments. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up to date. Provide ongoing support and coaching to staff to reinforce learning and ensure the application of new skills. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in Healthcare Payer operations and training methodologies. Maintain training records and documentation to track progress and compliance. Mentor and guide junior trainers, providing support and knowledge sharing. Lead special projects and initiatives to enhance the overall training and development strategy. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, Training and Development, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in training and development, with a focus on Healthcare Payer operations. Extensive knowledge of Healthcare Payer operations, including claims processing, member enrollment, and provider management. Strong instructional design and curriculum development skills. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills. Proficiency in using training tools and software such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools, and virtual training platforms. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and learner engagement. Proven experience in mentoring and leading junior team members. Preferred Skills: Certification in training and development (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance - CPLP) is a plus. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
