Description As a VAS Specialist at Nokia, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of Vodafone Australia's VAS services. Working within a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will troubleshoot and manage faults across SMSC, MMSC, Voice Mail, and network elements. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency of our technical help team, contributing to performance and SLA management. This position requires you to coordinate with the L3 support team, assess risks during network changes, and participate in special event preparations.HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Provides 24/7 L2 support for VAS network elements, ensuring rapid fault resolution and effective outage management. Perform regular health checks and configuration management, including minor software upgrades of VAS platforms. Monitor and problem-solving SLA performance and key KPIs, taking proactive measures to maintain service quality. Coordinate with L3 support for timely fault resolution and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with change management processes, and operational readiness of network elements. Qualifications You have: 4-5 years of experience in telecommunications or related industry. Experience of Incident/Problem/Change Management/Configuration frameworks such as ITIL v3. Knowledge of VAS network elements. Experience with 2G/3G/4G call flows and telecommunications protocols. It would be nice if you also had: Knowledge of VAS services telecommunications technologies. Experience with routing, switching, and international roaming scenarios. Proficiency in scripting for L2 health checks and network maintenance.
