The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. They will work closely with the creative team to ensure that the vision of the final product is achieved.Key Responsibilities Transformraw technical and educational footageintovisually appealing and entertaining content . Edit engaging short-form and long-form video content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and full-length YouTube and podcast episodes. Add sound, graphics, and special effects to enhance visual storytelling. Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver on the vision. Stay updated with current video editing trends and techniques to keep content fresh. Organize and maintain video files, project assets, and backups for an efficient workflow. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Review final outputs to ensure top-notch quality, including proper resolution, color correction, and sound clarity. Take constructive feedback and incorporate changes effectively.Qualifications Proficiency inAdobe Premiere Proand a basic understanding ofAfter Effects(knowledge of other editing software is a plus). Strong understanding of video production processes and industry best practices. Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to bring visual stories to life.
