The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge inSAP Commerce Cloud , strong integration experience with ERP/CRM systems, and a proven track record in delivering scalable eCommerce platforms.Key Responsibilities 1. Hybris Development & Customization Design, develop, and enhanceSAP Hybris Commerce Cloudsolutions forB2B/B2C/Marketplacemodels. Customize modules includingProduct Catalog, Pricing, Promotions, Order Management, Checkout, Cart, and Customer Experiencefor industry-specific needs. Extend HybrisOOTB functionalitiesto supportcomplex product hierarchies, bulk ordering, and personalized pricing . Implementcustomer-specific pricing, promotions, and recommendation enginesto drive engagement. 2. Integration & API Development IntegrateSAP Hybris Commerce with SAP S/4HANA, ERP, CRM (SAP Customer Experience), WMS, and OMSfor seamless operations. Develop and manageRESTful APIs, OCC (Omni-Commerce Connect) servicesfor third-party system integrations. Connect Hybris withpayment gateways, tax engines (Avalara, Vertex), fraud detection services, and loyalty programs . Enablereal-time inventory visibilityby integrating with warehouse and supply chain systems. 3. Performance, Security & Scalability Optimize Hybris forhigh traffic, peak load handling (Black Friday, Diwali sales), and omnichannel commerce . Implementscalability and performance tuningusingCDN (Akamai, Cloudflare), Solr search optimization . Develop multi-regionmulti-country, multi-currency, and multi-language eCommercestorefronts. Ensuresecurity compliance (OAuth, JWT authentication, PCI-DSS) for secure transactions . 4. Agile Development & DevOps Work in anAgile/Scrumenvironment, delivering high-quality commerce solutions. Assist inCI/CD automationusingJenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetesfor cloud deployments ( AWS/Azure/GCP ). ImplementA/B testing, feature toggling, and analytics-driven improvements . 5. Testing & Post-Go-Live Support Performunit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)for smooth rollouts. Providepost-deployment support, debugging, and performance monitoring .Required Skills & Qualifications 1. Core Technical Skills 5 to 10 yearsof experience inSAP Hybris Commerce (SAP Commerce Cloud) . Strong expertise inJava, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSP, JavaScript, and Hybris framework . Experience in: Retail : SmartEdit, Pricing & Promotions, Assisted Service Module (ASM). Manufacturing : B2B Commerce, RFQ (Request for Quote), Partner Portals. CPG : Subscription Models, Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Commerce, Analytics & Customer Engagement. Hands-on experience withSmartEdit, Backoffice Cockpits, Hybris Accelerator Storefronts . Good knowledge ofSolr Search, MySQL, Apache Tomcat, and cloud-based infrastructure . Spartacus (Headless Commerce UI - Angular)experience is a plus. 2. Integration & Middleware Strong experience in integratingSAP Hybris with SAP S/4HANA, ERP, PIM, OMS, and third-party applications . Knowledge ofSAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), GraphQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ . 3. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for industry-specific challenges. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in client-facing roles. Team player with anagile mindsetand ability to adapt to evolving business needs. 4. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience withProgressive Web Apps (PWAs)for mobile commerce. Exposure toAI/ML-driven personalizationand recommendation engines. Knowledge ofHeadless Commerce architecture and Microservices .Educational Qualification Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field . SAP Commerce Cloud certification is a plus .
