Job Title:Senior Doctor Reports to:Vice President - Campus Administration Location:Sonipat, Haryana Experience (in years) : 8-12 years About Ashoka University:Senior Doctor: Senior Doctor will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care, supporting emergency response services, mentoring medical personnel, and collaborating with the administration to enhance healthcare delivery and preventive care programs. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on campus health through both direct patient interaction and strategic involvement in healthcare policy and planning.Responsibilities: Clinical Care:Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Patient Consultation:Conduct medical examinations, prescribe treatments, and advise on health and wellness. Supervision:Guide and mentor junior doctors, nurses, and medical staff. Emergency Response:Provide immediate care during medical emergencies on campus. Health & Wellness Programs:Support preventive healthcare initiatives such as vaccination drives and awareness campaigns. Medical Records Management:Ensure accurate documentation and confidentiality of patient records. Compliance & Protocols:Adhere to national healthcare regulations and university medical policies. Collaboration:Work with university administration to enhance campus health services. Research & Training:Participate in health research, training programs, and professional development activities.Qualifications and Skills: Education:MBBS with MD or equivalent in General Medicine or a relevant field. Experience:Minimum 8–12 years of clinical practice, preferably in a hospital or academic institution. Skills:Strong diagnostic, communication, and leadership abilities. Regulatory Knowledge:Familiarity with healthcare laws and accreditation standards.
