Job Title:Associate – Litigation Arbitration & Dispute ResolutionLocation:MumbaiExperience Required:4 to 5 yearsJob Description: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Litigation Arbitration & Dispute Resolution Team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in arbitration matters, including drafting, research, and appearing before arbitral tribunals as well as arbitration related litigation. Candidates with a strong litigation background who are keen to build or transition into arbitration are also encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities: Handling arbitration proceedings, including domestic and international arbitrations. Drafting pleadings, statements of claim/defense, evidence, and written submissions. Conducting legal research on arbitration laws and related legal issues. Coordinating with clients, experts, and co-counsels as required. Assisting in court proceedings related to arbitration (e.g., Section 9, 11, 34, 37 applications under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act). Managing case files and maintaining detailed records.Required Skill Set: Prior experience in arbitration (institutional or ad hoc) preferred. Strong legal research and drafting skills. Familiarity with arbitration laws, procedures, and case strategy. Good oral and written communication skills. Courtroom exposure in litigation matters will be an added advantage. Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and work independently.
