Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our finance team. This role requires an individual with a strong background in managing accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and GST (Goods and Services Tax) requirements. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in QuickBooks, advanced MS Excel skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. The position also demands expertise in tax filing and maintaining proper documentation. The candidate should be a quick learner with strong interpersonal and analytical skills and be able to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.Education and QualificationsRequired:Minimum of 6 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within a service industry. Strong knowledge of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), including calculation, compliance, and timely filing of TDS returns. Understanding of GST (Goods and Services Tax) and experience in managing GST-related tasks, including input tax credit and GST returns filing. Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software, including invoice entry, payment processing, and vendor management. Advanced MS Excel skills, including creating reports, performing data analysis, and managing large datasets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with both internal departments and external vendors. Analytical skills to identify discrepancies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution. Ability to handle a dynamic environment and work under pressure while managing multiple priorities. A quick learner who can efficiently adapt to new tools, systems, and processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
