The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, particularly withSpring Boot microservices , and hands-on experience in DevOps practices, includingCI/CD pipelines ,automation ,scripting ,multi-service handling , andobservability . This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure applications in a cloud environment.Key Responsibilities: Java Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalableJava applicationsusingSpring Boot . Implementmicroservices architectureand ensure seamless integration between services. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering toSOLID principles .DevOps Practices: Develop and manageCI/CD pipelinesusing tools likeJenkins ,GitLab , orBitbucketto automate build, test, and deployment processes. ImplementInfrastructure as Code (IaC)using tools such asTerraformorCloudFormationfor consistent and repeatable deployments. Utilizeconfiguration managementtools likeAnsible ,Chef , orPuppetto automate system configurations and deployments.Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts using languages likePython ,Groovy , orBashto streamline deployment and operational tasks. Ensure automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline to maintain code quality and reliability.Multi-Service Handling & Observability: Manage and orchestrate multiple services usingcontainerizationandorchestrationtools likeDockerandKubernetes . Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track application performance and system health, utilizing tools such asPrometheus ,Grafana , orELK stack .Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. Participate inAgile/Scrummethodologies, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Required Qualifications: 5-8 years of experience in Java development with a focus onSpring Boot microservices . Proven experience in implementing and managingCI/CD pipelinesandDevOps practices . Hands-on experience withcloud platformssuch asAWSorAzure . Proficiency in scripting languages likePython ,Groovy , orBash . Experience withcontainerizationandorchestrationtools ( Docker ,Kubernetes ). Familiarity withmonitoring and logging tools( Prometheus ,Grafana ,ELK stack ).Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: Experience withInfrastructure as Code (IaC)tools likeTerraformorCloudFormation . Knowledge ofconfiguration managementtools such asAnsible ,Chef , orPuppet . Familiarity withsecurity best practicesin DevOps and cloud environments. Certifications inAWS ,Azure , orDevOpsmethodologies.Skills: Strong understanding ofsoftware development life cycle (SDLC)andAgile methodologies .
