We are seeking a highly skilledAMS Design Leadto take ownership of theSwitcher IP(DC-DC converter) as part of our PMIC development programs. This role involves end-to-end analog design and leadership responsibility, collaborating with global teams and ensuring design excellence for high-performance automotive-grade ICs.Key Responsibilities:Take complete ownership of theSwitcher IP designfor DC-DC converters from India and provide technical support to the Switcher lead.Design and implement analog building blocks includingvoltage/current references, amplifiers, comparators, and filters .Apply in-depth knowledge ofDC-DC converter topologies , PWM techniques, and power supply control theory to design stable and efficient circuits.Driveloop compensationstrategies to achieve optimalload regulation ,transient response , andlow output ripple .Evaluate and select components based onvoltage, current, frequency , andthermal considerations .Ensure designs arerobust to EMI/noiseand compliant with relevantautomotive standards(EMI/EMC, safety, reliability).Understand and manageclosed-loop feedback systems , ensuring converterstability and performanceacross conditions.Define system-level requirements and derive preciseblock-level specifications , balancing performance trade-offs.Work closely with layout teams to ensure successful realization of design intent and supportdebugging/yield optimizationduring silicon validation.Lead and mentor junior designers and share technical expertise across teams.Collaborate with cross-functional groups to enhance overalldesign quality and execution .Core Competencies:Strong background inanalog and mixed-signal circuit design , especially withinPMICs and power management .Expertise inSwitcher designand hands-on implementation inautomotiveor high-reliability domains.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to workindependentlyand in ateam environment .Proficient inEnglish– both verbal and written communication.Strongcritical thinking , ownership mindset, and passion for continuousimprovement and collaboration .
