Job DescriptionPosition Title, Responsibility Level: Lead Devops EngineerEmployment Type: PermanentLocation: ChennaiEssential Functions- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - 6-8 years of experience in a DevOps role, with a focus on automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD. - Certification in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert). - Strong proficiency in any scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or similar. - Hands-on experience in containerization technologies like Docker - Knowledge of best practices for security, compliance, and data protection in a cloud environment. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. - Experience with infrastructure automation using Bicep or Terraform.Primary Internal Interactions- Collaborate closely with software development teams to understand application requirements and assist in implementing DevOps practices within the development lifecycle. - Provide support for CI/CD pipeline integration, deployment automation, and infrastructure provisioning. - Work closely with senior team members to troubleshoot issues in Devops process - Work closely with QA/test teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring consistent and reliable testing of applications. - Provide support for test environment setup and maintenance, ensuring environments are aligned with production configurations. - Collaborate on feature releases and deployment strategies, ensuring alignment with product milestones and customer expectations. - Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure issues and implementing infrastructure improvements based on organizational needs. - Work closely with the security team to implement security best practices and compliance requirements within the DevOps processes.Primary External Interactions- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with Stakeholders across multiple lines of business on various project milestones, process changes, escalations, etc.SkillsTechnical SkillsRequired Skills: CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes,Version ControlExperience with one or more cloud platforms such as AWS,Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Containerization and Orchestration, Azure, Monitoring and LoggingPython or PowerShell, or Bash for Automation ScriptingTools: Infra-provisioning Automation Tools namely Ansible or Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, JIRA.Servers Knowledge:Skills Good to Have: US Healthcare KnowledgeCertifications in Cloud PlatformsProcess Specific SkillsDelivery Domain – Ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple layers of infrastructure, including networking, security, and application layersBusiness Domain - US Healthcare Insurance & Payer AnalyticsSoft Skills- Understanding of Healthcare business vertical and the business terms within - Good analytical skills. - Strong communication skills - oral and verbal - Ability to work with various stakeholders across various geography. - Excellent Team player, with the ability to build & sustain teamsWorking HoursShift – 12 PM to 9 PMWill be required to extend as per project release needs
