Managing Director – IMCT Services Private LimitedOverviewIMCT Services Private Limited (IMCT), a subsidiary of IMC Naval Architects, Australia, is seeking a Managing Director to lead and manage its daily operations. Based in Kerala, this role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on project engineering work in the field of naval architecture and marine engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and a track record of managing teams and delivering high-quality design solutions.The Managing Director will also serve as a director of IMCT Services and work closely with IMC Australia personnel to ensure alignment on strategic goals, project delivery, and resource management.Key Skills and ExperienceWe are looking for a degree-qualified engineering professional with:- A minimum of 12 years’ experience in the design and/or construction of ships and marine assets. - Recent experience in managing professional engineering teams. - Expert knowledge in at least one of the following areas: ship structures, concept or basic ship design, detailed ship design, or a closely related field. - A proven track record of delivering high-quality design and engineering solutions.Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the daily operations of IMCT, including project oversight and resource allocation. - Carry out project engineering work in your area of expertise. - Continue developing your technical skills in collaboration with IMC Australia. - Collaborate with IMC Australia to assign resources, track project progress, and ensure quality deliverables. - Coordinate with the IMC Australia Office Manager on invoicing, payroll, HR, and administrative functions. - Mentor and support the development of IMCT staff. - Contribute to strategic planning in conjunction with the Board and Owners. - Assist in developing HR and IT resource strategies in partnership with IMC Australia. - Oversee day-to-day HR matters. - Liaise with external service providers as needed.About UsIMCT Services is a small but dynamic naval architectural and marine design consultancy based in Kerala, India.
