Position:Head of Sales-Ancillary ServicesLocation:MumbaiCandidates with relevant experience only apply.Job Description (Role):We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Sales to lead and drive the revenuegrowth of our Ancillary Services vertical. This critical role will be responsible for the overallsales P&L, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and managing a high-performingsales team focused on promoting and selling our diverse portfolio of services includingeducation loan sales, health insurance for students abroad, visa services, counselling,accommodation, and forex. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales leader with aproven track record of success in a similar space, possessing a deep understanding of thetarget audience and the complexities of selling these types of services.Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Execution:Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the Ancillary Services vertical.Identify and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maximizing ROI.Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales and marketing efforts and ensure effective product positioning.Team Leadership & Management:Build, lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Set clear sales targets and expectations for individual team members and the overall team.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities to the sales team.Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members.Foster a positive and productive work environment.Sales Process & Operations:Develop and optimize the sales process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Implement and manage CRM systems and other sales tools to track leads, manage customer interactions, and generate reports.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners.Business Development & Growth:Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the reach and impact of the Ancillary Services vertical.Explore and establish strategic partnerships to drive sales growth.Represent the company at industry events and conferences.Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency.P&L Ownership:Take full ownership of the sales P&L for the Ancillary Services vertical.Monitor and analyse sales performance against targets and budgets.Identify and implement strategies to improve profitability.Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.Specific criteria required for the applicant:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.Minimum 3 of 10 years of hardcore sales experience with a significant portion of thatexperience in a similar space, specifically selling services like education loans, student health insurance, visa services, counselling, accommodation, and forex.Experience in the education or international student services industry.Existing network of contacts within the relevant industries.Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.Deep understanding of the target audience (students, parents, educational institutions) and the sales cycle for these types of services.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Strong business acumen and understanding of financial principles.Familiarity with the Indian market and regulatory landscape relevant to these services.What you can expect in return:ESOPsHealth insuranceStatutory benefits like PF & GratuityFlexible Working structureProfessional development opportunitiesCollaborative and inclusive work culture
