Sikich is seekingSenior Accounts Executivewith 12-15 years of experience in Indian accounting to join our dynamic team, who can oversee and manage daily accounting functions within an office environment. The ideal candidate would be handling day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit preparations, ensuring compliance with Indian financial regulations.About the firm Sikichis a global company specializing in Accounting, Advisory, and Technical professional services. Our comprehensive skillsets, obtained over decades of experience as entrepreneurs, business owners and industry innovators, allow us to provide insights and transformative strategies to help strengthen every dimension of our clients’ businesses.Job Responsibilities Ensure compliance with GST, Companies Act 2013, Income Tax, Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), Gratuity Act and other statutory requirements. Stay updated on changes in Indian accounting and tax regulations. Manage daily bookkeeping, review bills and critically examine it before processing payment. Assist external audit & accounting firms by providing necessary documentation and reports. Reconcile inventory records, and other ledgers regularly. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Assisting in the preparation and monitoring of budgets. Providing support in financial planning and forecasting. Analyzing costs and identifying areas for cost reduction Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results. Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending. Support month-end and year-end close process. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.Requirements B. Com/M. Com/Inter CA (Drop out) with relevant experience Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience of working with a multinational company would be an added advantage. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho) and MS Excel.
